Can someone help me with animations?

Hi, I’m a bit confused, you see, I’m writing a story right now, and my animations aren’t working, I’m not sure if I’m formatting it correctly or what.

The () is only for when a character talks.

@SCARLET is run_athletic

OR

@SCARLET starts run_athletic

OR

&SCARLET is run_athletic

is the writing format for when a character does an animation whilst not talking.
