# Can someone help me with math homework ;-; 2 Likes

I think it’s A just from using the simple method.

But the maths quote “If it seems easy then you’re doing it wrong” has stuck with me. Soooo I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m wrong.

I think I forgot how to do this. I did 12 X 20 X 1/2 in my calculator and got 120. But I don’t know though. LOL

I’d go with divide.

Ok and just ONE more thing because this is a two part question 1 Like

4 X 1/2 = 2.

4 divided by 2 also = 2.

So maybe.

You’re welcome.

No worries!

Ugh. It’s not a right angled triangle, so base is the longest side. Height is the line from the point between 12” side and 20” side, down to the base (at 90 degrees).
I just confused you, didn’t I?

Yes girl you did but it’s fine I already have the answer LMAO

That’s right but I want to tell OP when you are asked a question like when we multiply anything by fraction 1/2 we are doing what?

1. Multiply by 2
2. Subtract by 2
3. Divide by 2

To find out take any number, for example, 7 and do this:

7 x 1/2 = 3.5
7 x 2 = 14
7 - 2 = 5
7 / 2 = 3.5

As you can see the answers match for divide by 2 and multiply by half (0.5).
