Can someone help me with this scene issue i'm having please

I want the Heather character to be led in the hospital bed, but she doesn’t appear on the screen. Where am I going wrong? This is what i’ve got…

INT. HOSPITAL BED - NIGHT
@cut to zone 3
@HEATHER stands screen center AND HEATHER faces left AND HEATHER is idle_lay_exhausted_loop
@pause for a beat
@cut to zone 2
@HUNTER enters from left to screen left AND ROSIE enters from left to spot 1.280 136 -19
@pause for a beat

Your character is under the screen because you used screen center.

screen center only shows the character from knees up. And your character is laying down so you can’t see it.
You should spot direct the character.

I’ve tried back far right, still not showing for me to move her into position

Could someone hep me with the spot co-ordinates please, I am struggling so much :frowning:

  1. Preview your story
  2. Pause at the scene
  3. Click on directing help (top right corner)
  4. Click on spot helper (bottom right corner)
  5. Your character should have a white dotted line around it (if you can’t see it because your character is off screen, check does it say @CHARACTERNAME spot #### below the previewer, or click change char to change the character you want to move if the white line is around another character)
  6. Drag your character around to the spot you want it to be at
  7. Feel free to click on switch tool: scale/move to move and change the scale of your character to put it on the correct spot
  8. Then click copy or just copy the script line(where it say @SILVER spot #### on my screenshot) and paste in your script(replace @CHARACTER stands screen center)

Thank for this :slight_smile: But I already know how to do that :slight_smile:
It just won’t work on this one scene for some reason
Could you show me how to do it for what I need (see my script to get what I want) I would be really grateful if you could help with the scene I need please :smiley:

Sure. Can you send screenshots of your script?

Remove stands
When doing spot you just need @CHARACTER spot ####. You don’t need stands

lol can’t believe I forgot to take it out :’)
Cheers, all good now :smiley:
