Can Someone Make Me A Script Template?

Overlay Movement and character

How do you make overlays move smoothly with out pausing. Example their arms raising or rubbing someones back. If I want someone to move to a character to a spot but have them walk there how would I do that. I have made them walk to other places but it is choppy and they “jump” from place to place. Thanks.
