Can someone please explain this to me?

So, I don’t know if this has been mentioned before on another topic, but I think this should be addressed. I was going through outfits trying to dress some of my characters for a Halloween post on Instagram, and when I picked out this outfit, I noticed something peculiar. For some reason, on a male character, I can’t put the Shozoku Mask Raised Cotton Purple Mulberry with the Hood Raised Tied Front, but for a female character, I can.

I’m wondering why the Shozoku Mask and the Hood Raised Tied Front clothing can go together for females, but not for males.

I thought it was intended at first, but now, I’m not so sure.

So, they contacted me back saying the female mask has the raised hood while the male does not due to the clothing items appearing differently. So, I guess this was intended.
