hello!! Is it okay if you remove my tag? Sorry!!! ToT
I’m okay with giving tips from time to time thru DM, but I cannot assure you that you’ll make amazing edits in a short time. (nor do I have the patience to teach or give advice long-term)
Hey
Firstly, I’m honoured that you think I’m professional enough I only started this year, but definitely have a lot of fun making them for the art releases each week. My best advice is to use an app like ibispaintx (free unless you want to upgrade, which isn’t necessary) and play around with the brushes. You can dm on Instagram if you’d like (@whitewave91.episode) as I’m about to start another edit
It’s just a lot of practice and see what works for you. I’ve just started making Episode edits to be honest, but I can see my skills improve each week.
I already own a digital drawing tablet connected to my pc, which helps out a lot. I can just draw over an image like I would with pencil and paper. I installed Krita and I found it is closest to Photoshop (and it’s free!), but there is other amazing software around. If you don’t have a drawing tablet, there are lots of apps for iOS and Android tablets as well. You can also just use your mouse on your computer, but it’s going to take a little more time if you wanna add details.
That’s just how I do it. I suggest starting out with what you have. For instance, take a screenshot and change up the lighting or play with filters!
Hey love I have tutorials on editing from Custom Hair, outfitz, and poses on my instagram .You’ll find them in my highlights .Hope they are super helpful 《Link in my bio btw @charmdollstories 》
Hey dear first of all practice will slowly make each edit look better.I started edit this April and slowly I have seen my edits improved and don’t worry if it has turned out the way you want it to be ,slowly you will learn . So i take screenshots by zooming them for clearer look and i use ibisPaint X and ocassionally picsart for making the whole edit. I am also learning and trying to develop my skills🤗 and also if you need any help you can dm me on ig @slovia
I can say that I learned how to edit on my own. It’s been 8 months since I started editing, so I don’t think I know enough to teach anyone else about it. A friend taught me how to use Gimp (not for editing). I edited for the first time to make my own story cover and I loved it.
I am using Gimp and SkecthBook. I tried ibisPaint X but other apps were easier for me. Whichever application you choose to use, I would say try to learn the functions of all its tools.
My first edit was my story cover, so the image quality is not very high. Honestly, my latest edits are better for a story cover. So practice makes better. That’s why if you practice constantly, you can make godly amazing edits in a shorter time.
If you want a lengthy explanation of things, yes just dm me. I won’t reply right away though.
but yes just a dm here on the forums or on ig (@/nayu.ep same as my username here) would be fine :> (so we don’t bombard this thread made by someone else)
