Hello! Can someone tell me where i went wrong please?

When i try and preview it, it wont let me type my name in!
Then also, it makes their name auto-bot when i get them to say something!

Try it on your phone or laptop through Episode… 
It’s standard on writers portal preview to use ‘Auto-bot’. So, you did nothing wrong in the script… I had went through the same thing, (In one of my stories) but I realized how many times you try to change the name in writers portal preview it still stays on ‘Auto-bot’. if it says autobot it works, since it cant do it on the portal you have to test it on your phone

That’s okay… At the Episode-menu is a tab ‘Create’ (With a pencil on the left ). Tap it and you find all the stories you created/started published or non-published.
Thank you, how can I get rid of the line buttons? Do they only appear for the creator, and not for the reader?
They only appear for the creator… Go on Navigation and if you are there you have the option ‘Hide debug elements or HUD’ Tab that and the menu is gone for the whole episode (so if you have more episodes you need to do the same ) If you want the menu back 
tap on the door-icon up left and tap on your story again.

It comes out literally saying “Hello, (FIRSTNAME)”
I had scripted a name changing thing, but how do i get it to say the readers name?

It’s okay… You don’t wanna know how many times I find some troubles with scripting and coding 
I forget some little words like to or from and miss spell words often

Dont, an imporent tip, dont info dump in your story, information shall be deleverd through the story, sewn into it, not dump onto the reader.
