They only appear for the creator… Go on Navigation and if you are there you have the option ‘Hide debug elements or HUD’ 
Tab that and the menu is gone for the whole episode (so if you have more episodes you need to do the same ) If you want the menu back 
tap on the door-icon up left and tap on your story again.
