I want one of my characters in my story to be an Instagram celebrity. I know authors usually promote their Instagram at the end of their stories but are we allowed to implement it into our story plots? Are there any regulations on having references to social media sites?
I read somewhere that you are allowed to use social media logos, which I believe is one of the few, if not only, third party content you are legally allowed to use in the TOS; however, I would suggest checking the FAQ or content guidelines first, just in case.

All I found was for the regulations was “advertises for outside products or services, including but not limited to website links, reviews, and promotional language;”. I’m not selling a product or linking anything so I think I’m good. I just wasn’t sure, thank you for your help!
