Sometimes this happens if your story has been banned or if your portal needs refreshing.

This has happened to me before. Sometimes it fixes itself if you log out then back in, by swapping to a different browser, OR by clearing your site cookies/data through your brower’s settings menu. If those don’t fix it, submit a support ticket.
