Hi guys, is there anyway to get a car (with characters in it) to drive off from a stationary position as I can’t figure it out. I need this for both Ink and Limelight, thanks
You just need to spot the car and the character at the same time.
for example: (these aren’t actual numbers)
@CAR shifts to 40 240 in zone 2 in 2 and CHARACTER walks to spot 54 981 in zone 2 in 2 and CHARACTER is idle
Hope this helps.
Thanks, that does help
Hi, I’ve tried using this in my script but it comes up as an error, what do i do?
It was not actual numbers, but I can give you one from my story? ( no-body, if you want to check it out )
Just remember to switch the names with your characters!
This is the scene:
EXT. FANCY HOME - DAY
@overlay CAR SIDE PURPLE create and overlay CAR SIDE PURPLE shifts to -84 0 and overlay CAR SIDE PURPLE scales to 0.569 0.569 and overlay CAR SIDE PURPLE opacity 1 and YOU spot 1.208 27 -130 and ALEC spot 1.271 118 -158 and YOU faces right and ALEC faces right
@transition fade in white 2
@overlay CAR SIDE PURPLE shifts to -84 0 in zone 3 in 4 and overlay CAR SIDE PURPLE scales to 0.569 0.569 and YOU walks to spot 1.208 27 -130 in zone 3 in 4 and ALEC walks to spot 1.271 118 -158 in zone 3 in 4 and pan to zone 3 in 4 and YOU is deepbreath and ALEC is idle_sad_loop
(It seems a lot, but its not that much in the script)
Hope this helped!
Thanks, I’ve fixed it now
