What does the ‘becomes’ command do? When would it be useful? I tried searching with no luck. Thanks! 
From experience and what I’ve seen, I’ve seen it used to help create duplicates of the characters for things like mirrors and clones. It also could be used after customization templates to make a family member emulate the reader’s choice features while adding in specific features that can distinguish them from the MC.

Can it be used to choose genders? For example:
if (maleli)
@LI1 becomes BOY
} elif (femaleli) {
@LI1 becomes GIRL
}
I don’t think so. I think you’ll need to create another character for the gender option.
