Character Entering Scene

So, I’m pretty bad with characters entering scenes. Like I want my character to walk to a spot and after that, she does an animation. Can anyone help me? Here’s my script.

INT. MALL BOUTIQUE - DAY
@zoom reset

&CHARACTER spot 0.948 247 165 THEN CHARACTER faces right AND CHARACTER is tinker_loop_rear
@pause for 1

&CHARACTER enters from left to spot 0.948 108 164 AND CHARACTER does it while walk_trudge
@pause for 1
&CHARACTER faces left AND CHARACTER starts tinker_loop_rear

The CHARACTER bolden is the one that I am having trouble with.

Remove the pause and just change the & to @
