Character is standing in a spot although she wasn't added to the scene yet

All of my characters are standing screen right before they enter, then their character disappears and enters from screen left like their supposed to.

How do I fix this? Thank you!

That was awesome, girls! Next, we're going to head to your home for the time you are in my band.

I don’t understand what the problem is

Try playing the scene on your own, then i can figure out the problem.

The reason why your characters appear before entering is because you’re using the & sign with the THEN command but right after that command you have the “faces left” and “moves to layer” commands. So those commands happen before those characters actually enter the scene.

Instead of having all “enters from” commands in the same line using “then”, place each command on its own line using the @ sign.

@/CHLOE enters from left to spot 1.280 21 -9
@/LOLA enters from left to spot 1.271 95 -15
@/HANNAH enters from left to spot 1.316 161 -19
@/COURTNEY enters from left to spot 1.275 217 -17 THEN COURTNEY faces left
@/MAY enters from left to spot 1.280 301 -12 THEN MAY faces left
@/HANNAH moves to layer 10
