Character names?

Anyone have name ideas? I prefer them to be a) not generic, b) diverse (maybe some ethnically diverse names would be nice for once, you know) and c) have at least a vague meaning behind them.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.

• Aaliyah (It’s a diverse name, it’s Arabic, it means “high”, “lofty”, and “sublime”.)
• Aalis (pronounced as “Alice”, It’s Medieval French.)
• Aaminah (Arabic)
• Aaron (Jewish, English) - It’s a unisex name. Can be spelled multiple ways.
• Abbe (I believe this is german, it means “nobble.”)
• Abena (Western African, means “born on a tuesday”)
• Amara (German, I believe. It means “enteral”)
That’s all I can think of.

Idk if this helps depending on what genre you’re writing, but I think having a few “boring”/common names make a story more realistic! Like not every person is going to have something unique like ‘Osiris’ or ‘Caspian’. I like seeing common names like John or Will or Sam in stories, but that’s just my opinion

That makes sense. I’ll keep that in mind as well, thank you.
