Characters not loading quick

When ever i put characters in a spot in my story it takes a whole second or two for the characters to finally appear. Can someone please tell me how to fix this situation

if it’s everytime I’m not sure…
hmm maybe it’s the format of your script
may o see a screen shot of your script on where you are having your issue

It’s hard to know without seeing your script or when you’re placing them, but make sure you’re using & and not @.

Spot the character before the scene.

Example:

&YEN spot x y in zone x

@cut to zone x
Make sure you’re using the & command instead of @ as it makes a difference.
