Characters won't sit - Please help!

Hi, there!
I’m trying to write a scene where the character’s sitting. Although I’ve added the “sit-animation” my characters still appear as standing.
My script looks like this:

INT. WAITING ROOM - DAY
music music_backandforth
volume music 80 4000
@AL stands screen left AND AL faces right AND AL is sit

Normally my character should just appear in the room floating somewhere sitting.
Does anyone can figure out what I’m doing wrong?

its weird it works fine for me. but try to do this
@AL stands screen left AND AL faces right
@AL is sit

Thank you! Now it worked. I honestly don’t know why but I won’t complain.
