I think stories without choices are fine as long as the story is good. A pro about stories without choices is that you can tell a story the exact way you want it to be told without worrying about branching and choices. Meanwhile, stories with choices and branching may not allow readers to read certain scenes that an author may like readers to read because of choices and branching.

Yeah I struggle with choices because I know how I want the story to go and branching is just a whole problem for me
