Choices Help (LIMELIGHT)

I want my readers to have the choice on if they want to meet my characters family or not before starting the story
how do i do it?

Are you asking how to do a choice or asking how you put it before the story begins?

Asking how to do that certain choice and how I can actually introduce them using the choice and the option to skip it

You would make a label, and put it where the reader would go after they skip it.

EX:
Dialogue

label skip

After they press the choice to skip, put goto skip, since the label I up above is named ā€œskipā€ā€¦ but change it to what you want the label to be called. There’s another way to do it too though :slightly_smiling_face:

I hope that didn’t sound too confusing, I would include a choice in the example to make it easier, but I’m on my phone :joy:

Here’s how you would write that:

NARRATOR
Before we begin, do you want to meet your family members?

choice
ā€œYes! I want to meet themā€{

@familymember1 enters from left to screen center

NARRATOR
This is familymember1.

@familymember2 enters from left to screen center

NARRATOR
This is familymember2.

}
ā€œNo, I don’t want to meet themā€{

}

NARRATOR
Let’s proceed with the story.

(The reason I wrote nothing in the choice of ā€œNo, I don’t wanna meet themā€ is because the character doesn’t meet their family members and so nothing happens in that choice.
You could add something there if you want to.
Replace the ā€œ@familymember1/2ā€ with the corresponding names of that certain member.)

Hope it helped :two_hearts:

looks simple enough im not good with choices but i want this story to have choices that matter

also how do i give the readers a choice to cc the characters?

NARRATOR
Do you wish to customise your character?

choice
ā€œYes!ā€{

(insert cc template here)

}
ā€œNo, she looks perfect!ā€ {

}

(The cc template thing is actually one of the templates provided in the script)

Open the Script Template dropdown.
Then, click on Avatar - Limelight Female 6.

@LISAANNEMARIEE
its actually beter to use dra.amarie templates - the one in app are not often updated and do not have all availivble things like hairstyles while dara updates all her templates after every episode update.
