I agree with the pregnancy part. They look really realistic!
I love LL! It looks so much nicer than INK. The characters look more realistic and I find that makes them easier to relate to. I also feel like characters look more unique and I can make myself look more similar to how I look in real life without looking pasty or fake.
When we were shown the prototype originally (Falling for the Dolan Twins, I think?), I thought Limelight looked horrible. I wanted nothing to do with it. But they made heavy improvements imo and I ended up taking a look again when they released it to the writer’s portal, aaaand I’ve been a limelight stan ever since lmao.
Personally, especially with the recent updates, I think it’s become a lot easier to make diverse, visually interesting characters in LL stories - moreso than Ink. I like the look of men in LL better too, actually.
And - I literally mean with this no shade or sarcasm - if you don’t mind my asking, what draws you to Ink?
I adjusted extremely easily to LL, so I’m curious about what makes people prefer the former style.
I love Limelight because it looks so realistic but at the same time, you can barely see their emotions. Like if a character were to cry, you see that the emotion don’t change as much. But in Ink, you can see more emotion.
Sorry, if I’m confusing.
By the way, in Limelight. if you put ‘rear’ for male characters, their back hair looks so weird and way too high.
I like how the characters look and how it has more features. But the thing about Limelight that really bothers me are the animations. The characters barely show any emotion (in my opinion). This is one of the main reasons why I prefer INK over Limelight. I actually hated LL before, but now I’m slowly starting to like it.
The animations are fake and the animation means a lot to the story
I agree
The only think I hate is their actions.
They are acting like robots, its so fake.
If their action were like INK, I would love it
Looks pretty, doesn’t always move so pretty ^^’
Limited clothes kinda
long hair for men <3 <3 yay
I definitely prefer Limelight style over INK now, I don’t even think I can read anymore INK stories, sigh. There’s without a doubt a lot of things INK is superior in, they have wider range of animations and clothing options, but I personally find the LL style to be the most realistic looking
Just the movement looks fake and kinda creepy too
Cons
- The guys are too damn wide chested.
- The sad animations look like really bad acting.
- The punches are slower than Venus’ rotation on its axis compared to INK.
Pros
- As people have said above, it looks more realistic. I really like the look.
- I love the extensive selection of skin colors (now if they could only make lip colors to match all of them appropriately
)
Sorry, but I HATTTTTTTTTTTTEEEE LL and the original style. Ink is my #1.
Only ever read ink stories and refuse to do LL ones.
They’re so much more energetic and dont look fake and ugly, lmao sorry but LL is ugly. Especially the boys. They are soooooooo ugly… ink boys are just

Yes sister speak

I agree with everything you said
the ink guys are just
The ll guys are so ugly and look old asf
Ikrrrrrr
Literally every time I think “the punches can’t be as slow as I’m remembering them, they just can’t be,” and then I’ll look and they’ll be worse lmao. I would actually be okay with the wide chests if they didn’t make the arms look thin by comparison.
Lmao! They look like such soft looking punches too. If the person doesn’t take advantage and dodge it in the 30 minutes it takes to reach their face then there is minimal damage being done when it does make contact.
I feel like the arms do throw the proportions off making it look weird. The INK guys have nice proportions. I feel like they should have stuck to that shape.
I feel this bad! ^^’ Like…someone doesn’t understand anatomy very well, I think ^^’ I mean, maybe some dudes have chests like that with noodle arms, but…>.> They look like a badly drawn armored titan. X’D
Before anyone thinks that this image was drawn by hand by somebody and I’m saying something to some artist that drew this, this is rotoscoped - this is the exact image that bothers me to death in the actual anime because the proportions are really like that in the scene
I also like the LL style but I think it is because I am not used to it, yet. I have always used the Ink style but I think LL is also starting to grow on me. And although I like the male’s look in LL, I prefer the Ink, yet.
I understand you pu:joy:
