On the old forum, I couldn’t even comment or ask for advice so that it now sorted. But what I can’t do now is make my own chat. Could someone please help me.
The messaging system will become available to you after a couple days (if it isn’t already). 
To get to your messages, you’ll need to tap on your icon in the top right corner, an tap the envelop in that will appear in the menu in the middle top right.
Then find the New Message button, and it’ll pull up a New Message box (like when you make a new post). Select who you want to send it to, and then tap send!
