This would be another question that you can send Episodes way via ticket as I am only an Admin of the forums and cannot speak on behalf of Episode’s decision making process.

@CrazyCaliope lol it take time for the team to respond to tickets, they have a small team and not that big, and oh, and come on don’t pressure Nick on asking them to come talk to us because maybe their busy having a meeting regarding this or something else (not sure if it’s coronavirus but you know). lol. Melani is also a good one to talk to regarding this, and hopefully she’ll be back to answer our questions.

Finally finished looking through this thread and I’m still pissed despite it having been three weeks or so now. Especially considering the short amount of time that everyone had to archive their posts-- it’s absolutely ridiculous. Closing the section is one thing, but on such short notice?
The old place I use to roleplay at gave us a year to gather our posts. And even then, it is still possible to access everything on your old account as long as you used an option that they provided to back it up. Oh, and they actually gave everyone a decent reason as to why they were shutting down

I’m still upset by this decision it really took a chunk out of forums, And while everyone weren’t active in the sub form many were and it helped people bond, make friends, shoot even lovers you never know it’s always great to have users bond over something they like and instead of giving us a legitimate reason you just decide to close the forum without any type of explanation. Frankly I find it rude- And even if it’s not “genuinely a part of forums” many sub forums aren’t as-well and that was makes me upset we all got basically ran out of forums for no reason.

You could’ve kept a lot of people happy by moving this all to the PMs, create one thread similar to the new ideas thread and have the people interested in a certain idea move it to the PMs. I don’t understand why this happened, it’s unnecessary, is moving it to the PMs hurting Episode? Does Episode even care at all? No.
That one guy in the back of the meeting: “Maybe you should think this through.”

Great this was probably the worst decision ever. I worked so hard to create Rushmore Academy and I didn’t even get the chance to archive it because I never saw this post. I among so many others have made so many friendships in roleplays. I mostly only came on here for roleplaying. Your entire app is basically roleplay. How does this not align with your views.
