I’ve noticed lately that most to all of the swimsuits available look like this:
And there definitely is a modest diversity in this but none of them are made for swimming competitions, mostly just party or beach themes. I’m sure that even then, there would a few characters in stories would uncomfortable showing this much skin.

And the armor ones don’t really seem like swimsuits
The armour ones got caught in the screenshot. I think the point is that there need to be more modest swimsuits because not everyone is trying to wear the least amount of clothing in public.
Especially with the new wave of LGBT stuff.
