So - we already have wings. And they work just fine for many of their intended purposes! But, it would be nice to have the wings folded instead of just… out.
This will work better for stories that intend the character’s wings to be part of themselves, and not just a costume. It’ll also allow a more realistic visual for large wings. I think it would be an awesome addition.
