Coding character template help!

Hi all!!

I am coding a scene where there is change to hair only and only long hairstyles.
And then the other main character has to do the same, but with upstyles.
(long story ha ha)
Anyway, it seems to have coded fine, but it won’t got back to the scene?
I’ve been working on it too long, and now it’s all starting to blend together. lol

Does anyone have something I can copy & paste?

Thanks!!!

I’m not sure if this is exactly what you mean, but you could try using labels?

Put label scene at the beginning of the scene you want it to redirect to, and goto scene at the end of what you want to happen before it redirects to the scene. (You can replace scene with whatever.) I’m not too great at explaining but I hope this makes sense.

INK or LL?

Anyways… Try it like this

label hair_choosing_1

@CHARACTER stands screen center

NARRATOR
What hairstyle?

choice
“Hair 1”{
@CHARACTER changes hair into Hair Style
@pause for a beat
}
“Hair 2”{
@CHARACTER changes hair into Hair Style
@pause for a beat
}
“Hair 3”{
@CHARACTER changes hair into Hair Style
@pause for a beat
}
“Hair 4”{
@CHARACTER changes hair into Hair Style
@pause for a beat
}
“Hair 5”{
@CHARACTER changes hair into Hair Style
@pause for a beat
}
@CHARACTER is animation

NARRATOR
Is this okay?

choice
“Yes”{

NARRATOR
Awesome!
}
“No”{
goto hair_choosing_1
}

You mean something like that?

And welcome to the community @SashaKia :blush:

Now, I did that, but it just takes me back to the beginning scene, but there is no other goto. Does that makes sense?

Can you post a picture of your script? I’m not really sure what you mean, sorry :sweat_smile:

Actually, I figured it out! I had done it with a different character previously in the same chapter, so I had duplicate labels. I had to change that.
Thanks!!!

Yay! I’m glad you figured it out :blob_turtle:
