Coding confusion: character stopping actions

i want my character to talk on the phone and then immediately do the next action. right now he just seems to stop walk_talk_phone_neutral_loop as soon as he gets to the spot ive directed him to go to and then he listen_phone_confused like im not sure if im making sense but i want him to immediately be confused after hes stopped walking and not put the phone down and then be confused. . .

here is my script

     CHARACTER (walk_talk_phone_neutral_loop)
It was so sudden. The guy was throwing up blood out of nowhere

@CHARACTER is listen_phone_confused

    CHARACTER (talk_phone_surprised)
Bro i'm serious like he was fine one minute then the next-

yes, this is basically the main part of the scene :

 NARRATOR
Earlier that week. . .

@CHARACTER changes into CHARACTERCASUAL

&CHARACTER enters from left to spot 1.280 77 76 in 3 AND CHARACTER is walk_talk_phone_neutral_loop
&CHARACTER moves to layer 1

    CHARACTER (walk_talk_phone_neutral_loop)

Try to change the @ to a & instead

When your character is listen confused

If that doesn’t work, try to do the coding like this
&CHARACTER enters from left to spot 1.280 77 76 in 3 AND CHARACTER is walk_talk_phone_neutral_loop THEN CHARACTER starts listen_phone_confused
