So my character is having an interaction with her dog and she kneels down to reach his level. When I wanted her to go back up, she got up but then she, mind you she was facing right, turns left when I didn’t tell her to. I thought to fix this I could add a command to tell her to face right again but she still turns left. As you can see in the picture she’s facing left, but there’s no command telling her to face left.
I’ve noticed that you put a command for her to exit right. What I would suggest is putting in a pause before that command, and maybe that’ll do the trick. For example, do @pause for a beat or @pause for 1.
On lines 2992 and 3004, change “is” to “does it while”
I’m sorry but did you mean line 3006?
No 3004. When you have a character walking while doing an animation, you need to use “does it while”
I’m sorry I’m just confused, line 3004 doesn’t have a walking animation and a spot command. Its just the character talking.
In your original image above, it does. You may have edited your script since posting this. But I’m going straight off the image you shared in your post above.
OH, I’m so sorry I didn’t notice. In this case NOW, it would be line 3006. I’m sorry for being dumb and incompetent.
Thank you for your help!
I’m really sorry for bothering you again, I hope I’m not wasting your time. I edited my script to match what you were talking about but it didn’t work. If you can, please help me. Also be patient with me please I’m kind of new here. ![]()
This is what my script looks like now, but my character still faces left when I didn’t tell her to. If you don’t mind, can you help me to come up with a soulution? Please and thank you. ![]()
Can you copy and paste that section of your script here?
Try @CAMI walks to spot 1.280 84 3 in zone 3 in 0.6 AND CAMI does it while dustoff_neutral_loop AND CAMI faces right THEN CAMI faces right
Right now you have her facing right on the next line instead of within the action so it’s having her face the default direction. I don’t think you need the THEN that action I added above, but it should help make sure she stays facing right.
Short answer, add at the end of line 3006: AND CAMI faces right
And remove line 3008 as it’s redundant.
Why is Cami facing left? Because her character is moving from 91 to 84, i.e. she is going left, so the script automatically faces her in that direction. Except if you specifically state, in the same line as the movement happens, that she’s facing the other direction.
