Have you tried updating the preview option? Or restarting the episode? After you edit, make sure you try that so that what you’ve edited can be shown on the screen. To me, your script doesn’t seem like it’s having any errors…

For that purpose I think you need use the web previewer and play around with the coordinates a bit.

I agree. It’s a case of trial and error. I always start with the layers then I do spot directing
