No I said I would upload screenshots showing how to do certain things step by step
If you scroll to the top of the page you will see I’ve updated the topic with a drop down named ‘Script Editor Right Panel’

i did and it didn’t work
Send a screenshot of that entire section.
Okay thanks
If you want a template done you can request one by giving full details of the scene like background name, how many characters)male/female) and what they might be doing.
Also if you need any help dealing with script errors.
heyy so I have this problem where I’m trying to setup a class room scene. so when I transition from one scene to the next, the new scene pops up twice. the first time without the characters and then the second time with the characters. please help its irratating.
Is it possible for you to upload a screen shot of the scene in your script editor?
yes ofc
it says i can’t upload images though
You should be able to
When the text field opens you’ll see a picture button at the bottom right of it.
okay could you send me a screenshot of where that is? sryy
Are you using a smartphone or laptop?
laptop! it always says sorry but you can’t put pictures in a post
Great I’ll review them now and get back to you
I see what the issue is
You need to use the & symbol to place the characters or it takes a while for everything to setup in the scene before the transition comes in
Use one line for each character using the & symbol
For example:
The EXTRA character you’ll put:
&EXTRA spot ###### AND EXTRA faces right AND EXTRA is idle_armscrossed_condicending_loop
Do that for all characters
Then add a layer line for all of them after
For example:
@EXTRA moves to layer # AND EXTRA1 moves to layer # AND EXTRA2 moves to layer #
etc.
Then put the transition fade in line
This will allow all characters to be placed instantly and simultaneously before the scene fades in.
You can try it or wait till I get home to do a text file for you on my laptop.
thank you very much
