I have always wanted to know how to code so I could independently create my own story but I just don’t know were to start. I want to know if any of you guys have any tips and trick to learning to code .

if you are 100% newbie I would recomand to start with the tutorial which are in the writers portal.
also there are great videos on internet - if you are more visual learnes.
One of the most knowns :

It is a lot of stuff so for the begining my recomandatin - make first jsut a testing story for learning stuf - so you will not get frustrated that you need something specific yet not knowing how to do it.

Start with the basic.

how to place background
How to get your character on screen
How to make the character speak and make animation

and than dig deeper.
also as here if you have specific problem - most of the thinkg I have learned in the formum eather searching it up or asking a dumb question.

It’s honestly not as difficult as it looks in the beginning, once you get the hang of it it’s pretty easy imo
