So I want to be an active member of the Episode community. But I’m wondering:

  • What is something I could start doing for community authors?

I was thinking of making character cards and reading stories (up to 25 episodes) for nothing in return, except for:
_ Character Cards = Credit. (Or ill be adding my username to the card itself).
_ If you want a story shoutout = read 3-4 episodes of my story. OR follow my insta.

Update: Story is locked. Revamp is planned.

Note

I have made a post on my Instagram regarding the author support in reading. Not sure if I should make a post on here too so you all comment your story titles or just leave it so you go to my ig instead.

Anything else authors might need or want? Doesn’t necessarily have to be art or reads.

Hey thank you for this wonderful opportunity and contribution for authors! Evrythinggggg you’ve planned on doing for authors are absolutely fine! And that’s an amazing idea you’re working on! :heart: as per other advices to be active on episode instagram, I myself am such an inactive person :joy: I would post very less of the content, but always check on texts and posts of my episode friends! :relieved:

I’m actually running an insta account but it’s not getting much of attention even though I’ve tried to share it and make it reach authors, so I’ve decided to maybe share what I have in mind here to attract and support authors who feel like they need it.

Also, no apology necessary, I really appreciate you supporting my idea!

Feel free to do whatever you like to be active.

  • Character Cards
  • Story Shoutouts
  • R4Rs
  • Edits if you’re good at editing at characters, backgrounds, overlays, etc.
  • Script Templates
  • Splashes
  • Story Cards etc

Anything that you mainly like to do, keep on doing that!

I will agree that character cards and story shoutouts are most likely the best and easiest ways to get involved in the community, as those are the top things authors (especially new ones) are looking to get.
