I’m entering the Dirty Dancing story contest, and it’s the first contest I’ve entered.
How many episodes are judged and checked for retention? Do I put myself at a disadvantage if I publish more than that? Or, do the three episodes (or however many episodes are judged) have to be self-contained as a complete story?
I think all three episodes will be judged so it’s fair for everyone.
Yes, it gives you a disadvantage if you publish more than 3 episodes as reader’s retention is also one of the factors to win the contest.
No, your story doesn’t has to be completed in three episodes.
