I have an idea for a future contest theme: forbidden love. the creator has to write a story that includes a romance that is deemed ‘forbidden’ in the story’s world. some examples could be lovers from two opposing families (like romeo and juliet), a gay couple in the 20s, a vampire and a werewolf in a world where its frowned upon for them to date, etc as long as its within appropriate guidelines obviously. what do we think? personally id love to write a story of this theme lol and i think the results would be creative and interesting!

I love the idea, I haven’t done a writer contest before but that does sound like a theme I wouldn’t mind giving a try

loll yeah unfortunately some people might take it in a weird direction but they need to follow guidelines to qualify anyway, and i figured theres been scandelous themes in the past (ie dirty dancing, i believe) so this is nothing
