So @Maria.StoryWritter is the winner of the First Week Colored Outline . Congratz, you are great just like others, hey .
Now to Second Week Outlines Sorry for the wait btw
@Maria.StoryWritter
So overall it is great. Lines are smooth. The right hand is gorgeous.
I have a few suggestions on proportions and angle.
While her stomach suggests she is positioned really frontal, her right boob is kinda bigger, so it looks like her chest is a bit turned on the right, same with the bottom part, while the stomach is frontal, because of the navel button position. Also, her hair parting is also angled a bit wrong since her head is really frontal. I suppose it may be because you traced different parts from different pics, but you can always adjust them, using pics only as a rough template. So pay attention to the body angle, so you can avoid these things in the future.
Lines are a little shaky in a few places but overall it’s neat and tidy. Again there are lines where things like creases or shading/lighting would be put there’s no need to add these lines to an outline as when it comes to coloring there will just be random lines that aren’t needed.
The head it a little disproportionate, the height of the hair at the top it a little too high, also the neck as a tad off, I know with the pose itself it wouldn’t be in the center however it’s a little too off point in connection to the shoulder on the right side. The neckline of the top is also a little lopsided.
The hand structure is really well done. The hair is neat and overall well structured. The arm on the left is a little more muscular than the one on the right, needs some more balance.
@Epiexpert
So I gotta say, I think you did much better than the last week. This is the most important, that you do better with each week.
First of all, check the format of your pic. I dunno how really, but it’s not an outline technically, as when u click on it, inside of your outline is the white filling. TBH it looks like u did the outline on the white canvas right from the start, and then attempted to delete the white outside, that’s why it is pixely on the outside. Pay attention to layers when u do your works.
Now to the outline. Legs are much better, as I remember last time they were very disproportioned. But arms, on the contrary, are out of tune. The upper part is always bigger than the bottom part. Also, lips are positioned out of tune with eyes and nose. Overall lines got smoother, so kudos, and I see you were playing with the brushes, so I feel like you listened to what we said last week.
Lines could use some work, the main outer hairline doesn’t meet at the ends. One of the hair section lines overlaps another randomly and looks out of place where it is, you have to remember there is a reason for each hair line you use, if it doesn’t look right there, think to yourself Do I need a line there? would it look better at another angle or does it look better without? try not to just pop a line there and leave it, most hair work is done in colouring not outlining, so only basic shaping is needed.
The arm on the right is a little thin at the top then gets quite wide as it goes further down, it looks a bit shapeless, could do with restructuring. The hand itself isn’t bad but I can’t help think the little finger that’s been added comes across as more of an after thought, it’s not very shapely, just straight. The other arm is better, but the elbow it a bit too pointy, needs rounding slightly. and the fingers again need some improvement.
There’s definite improvement, so that’s good. The legs aren’t bad, but the upper thigh on the leg on the left could do with being a little wider though to match the one on the right.
@Jayl
Well, the head is flawlessly traced. I would personally put the left eye a bit more to the right. Problems begin with everything below the neck. While upper body part proportioned somehow well, I would turn it a bit to the right, and right arm is awkwardly positioned along with the whole shoulder, it should be more “behind”, u know. Now legs. They are really small compared to the rest of the body. And take a look at the right leg. It is positioned behind the torso, while it should be in front. Her ass is also kinda small compared to the rest. Pay more attention to proportions and body angle. Lines themselves are nice and smooth. If you don’t mind. next time please put a small comment, on how you draw it, like were u tracing the pic with the pose, or did it urself, cause now I can’t really tell.
Okay first thing I have to mention here is the proportions, her upper body appears far longer than her lower body, the legs needed to be longer, as it is they appear a bit short and stocky.
The hips could use widening slightly to add some natural curves to the character, especially in this position. As it is below the waist she is very straight and thin, this doesn’t compliment the upper half.
The lines are smooth and neat for the most part the neckline is a little weaker than it could be and there’s slight irregularity on the boot.
I’m a little sad to see that again you’ve stuck with traditional INK character appearance. For a start it’s beach wave hair and the reference was straight hair. But mainly, this is a training camp, to try to give you the chance to get out of your comfort zone and give something else a shot, it doesn’t matter if it’s not “perfect” it’s just practicing. You are clearly good at making outlines it would be nice to see what you can create that isn’t episode style.
@Infinitee
Okay. I gotta say that this one along with @Epiexpert are the two greatest improvements this week. Great job. I think with more practice you will be great. If you don’t mind, comment on how you did it, what you used, tracing or freehand.
Lines are much smoother, and you tried different brushes I suppose, so good job on this.
Her body compared to the previous week is kinda hot. Love these curves overall.
Now where you could improve.
Proportions. Her neck is definitely short and whole shoulders- neck part is smaller than the torso and her head. Also, pay attention to her head. Sure, you can turn ur head like this when your body is in the side-view, but her neck would’ve been positioned a bit differently, plus her head seems to be placed a bit more to the left on her neck than it should. Fingers are kinda short like they have only one phalange, while arm itself seems to be okay in terms of size. You can try to check arms references on Google, I found it personally helpful. Stomach-pelvis part, where here body bends is a bit straight-angled, not rounded like it should be. And the last, check her legs. Length seems to be fine itself, but her left leg should be bigger than the right since it is closer to the front, and the right would be less visible from this angle. Now it looks like we watch her legs from above, while her body is totally frontal. Returning to face, I’d say eyes should be smaller, but it might be just as well your style, sorta anime-ish.
Neat line work, the eyes look pretty and generally the facial structure it nice, the chin however is a little too pointed to look natural. The hairstyle is nicely done as is the pose, the arch of the shoulder is a bit too pointy as well, it could do with being made more rounded to look smoother.
The leg shape is done well generally, although the leg at the front really needs a small touch up, the thigh could use being a bit bigger to match the other, as it is, it’s a bit thin. I would advise the foot to be a little more delicately created, it’s a bit too un naturally rounded this could be done by making the toe of the shoe slightly longer and more pointed, adding more arch to the underside of the shoe line. This will create a more realistic shape to it.
The fingers are well places and neat and the wrist shape is nicely done too, However the fingers are a bit too short and lack shape.
I can’t help but think that not a lot of effort went into the dress as it’s just got the lines for the beginning and end of the sleeves and the end of the dress.
Simple dress design is fine, but if it’s this simplistic add a splash of character to it, maybe a cut out shape to the waist, or a side zip, button work or a pattern of sorts. Also you havent included the back line of the dress. There’s no indication to how high or low the back of the dress is, this makes it look incomplete. I would also advise to alter the breast lines as they would be covered by the dress you would only need the natural breast curve, not the lines for each one.
Overall though it’s a good piece and there are improvements that you have made so well done.
We will post new task shortly. Feel free to ask whatever you want about our comments.

Sometimes freehand, sometimes trace, i normally trace the body/face and add my own deets and things if I’m not tired or Lazy.
@fcukforcookies I’m sorry but could I maybe, leave this camp? I just never end up doing the tasks, and even though you could always practice i’m happy with my work!
I really think you should try and do your best, trace, freehand, whatever. If you won’t try something new, I’m afraid you’re gonna stuck with the same girl with the beach wave hair. Don’t throw out your potential hon.
