Cover bug when uploading image

so basically my large cover image is only 757KB but when I tried to upload it as my cover it said that it was over the limit of 1.0MB so I got one of my friends to compress the image and now it is only 190KB but apparently it is still over 1.0MB and I don’t know what I am supposed to do

any ideas? any tips? anything? please help me

to completely make sure its the right size, i suggest downloading an app that allows you to pick your background size (like ibis paint X)

Thanks but I didn’t make it an artist made if for me and I am RUBBISH at editing pictures

you could just save the picture and upload it yourself on ibis paint - you dont need to have drawn it yourself

I know that what it said for the artist but episode says it is 1.17MB which doesn’t make sense

Even a pic 499x332 with resolution 65 is too big. This is… like, a major problem.

Try uploading in png format I just tried it and it worked

i saved it in a png format though…

you know when i cropped it for you, and it still didnt work, i put it in a png format
