As some sort of artist myself, I can tell that even though thread hopping isn’t cool, ghosting someone you have accepted a request from for this long is probably even worse. More so if the deadline was set. Not saying that it’s the case here, since we can’t know that. Maybe something unfortunate happened to them. But eitherway, I do believe if they were doing it or were almost done - they’d reply to your messages. And since you’ve already waited past the agreed deadline - I don’t see anything wrong if you canceled your order and ordered from someone else.
