Do you guys think a police/detective plot will be common or overused?

Perhaps but put your own unique twist on it

Entering.

I wanted to enter a sort of intro to a story idea I had in my mind…It would fit pretty well into the mystery genre

But I don’t think It will even have a slight shot of winning. The Mc is a male, with limited customization and it’s based on the Victorian era…

Yeah no. No one is gonna read it :persevere:

Sounds intriguing, I love period pieces. What’s the mystery?

Sounds interesting and could be great. Just make sure you plan it out well, so it has a good flow and good directing. (wink)

My story is gonna be about solving your grandmothers death. The main character is a male and it’s an ink story. But I feel like it is to common or cliche for a mystery story.

Usually solving a murder or mysterious death can be used quite a lot, heck, mines based of solving a murder/death. But don’t feel as though it’s to cliche. As long as you put the hard work in and a few unexpected twist and turns in i’m sure it’ll turn out great!

Good luck x

I love murder mysteries! It’s not cliche at all unless it is predictable
