Hi Hi Writers!

Welcome to my review thread! I’m looking to read more stories as I snuggle, and sip my coffee on my down time, and help out writers as well. I’ll do my best to give you my best tips, tricks and advice on the stories that I read. And so without further ado, here is how the magic will go down!

MY REVIEW PROCESS

  1. I will only read up to your second episode for your review. I’m not keen on paying for passes, but I do like to read a couple times throughout the day.
  2. If you don’t fill out the form correctly, I’m going to skip yours. I’ll let you know to fix it and I’ll come back to it.
  3. I am a full time employee of 2 jobs, a wife and a mommy, so I will do my best to do the reviews within a week.
  4. I will do reviews in batches of 5. There will be a waiting list, so please be patient.
  5. As my thread suggests, reviews will come out on Saturday. It is my most productive day and free day of the week.

WHAT YOU GET

I will give you my, first impressions, my thoughts on your plot & characters, your pacing & directing and grammar. I will also give you an overall thought of the story as I see it so far. I do my best to give constructive criticism and help you. I also understand that you may not agree with everything that I have said. Please, know that I am not saying anything to hurt your feelings. That is not what this is about. I just want to help you and read some stories in the process.

Something fun about why you wrote this story: I feel like most stories published are all about bad boys, pregnancies, the mafia, and other cliches. I wanted to write a story about a character that needed to be developed. A character that needed to grow. I made Tally mute because I used to go to speech therapy and we were all very anxious, one girl was pretty much mute… rarely said anything. I was kind of inspired by her, for the most part.

Something fun about why you wrote this story: it was for the spotlight on love contest…I wanted to write something different than a romance/drama-focused story and came up with this curious idea after playing with my thoughts for a while…I really love writing ‘weird’ stories like these the best! When this one’s finished, I still have a lot more up my sleeve…but for now, I have my hands full on this story and my other story :relaxed:

Hey guys! Starting this week I’m going to start reviews again! I hadn’t reopened the thread, but instead of waiting on them to update the bb code to get my thread like it was before, I’m just going to push ahead with what I have. I’m starting to get really bored waiting, lol! SO, if you are not familiar with my thread from the other forums, I was only doing 5 a week, but now I’m going to be doing 7! So yaaaaay!

Something fun about why you wrote this story: The lead is inspired by the kind of person my fiance is in real life. The lead is a fighter and there is this beautiful relationship between the lead and her best friend (It’s been my favourite relation I have ever written. )

Something fun about why you wrote this story: I wrote this story from the perspective of the oldest daughter, Samantha. I noticed there aren’t currently a lot of stories on Episode featuring a black family, or a family of color, and I wanted to change that. I also wanted to create a story that had a lot of unexpected twists- as I love to read those kinds of stories myself!
