How does one best manage their energy? I mean, I get that it wouldn’t be a good idea to just go and play a full soccer game, but how do you control your energy?

“The Dark Side” is used as a neutral and general term, as terms like “Goth” already go into detail. The Dark Side consists of many sub-genres, so to say, like vampires, werwolves etc. I am a child of the night, but I do not belong to a certain group or style like goth or emo.

No, no general treatment. Sure, they can give you something for certain symptoms, like antidepressants for your mood etc.

You need to know your limits and try to stay within, not too much, but also not doing nothing at all.

Greetings !

Some of you might have wondered why I did not post more about me lately. Since I am on my laptop right now, I will try to explain to you what is going on. First of all, my aunt is in hospital and had an op. I live with her, her husband and for some time now also her son. My cousin suffers from schizophrenia and drug addiction. As soon as his mother was not around, he did drugs again, so the ambulance was here and also the police. He is now in a psychic hospital. As my help level was decreased, we planned to share our help for the time till his mother is back, but now that he is not here, I won´t get any help in terms of household and chores either. So my uncle-in-law and I will have to see how we cope and how things will go from here. :frowning:

I explained both names just recently, if you scroll up the thread a bit. In short, it refers to the heraldic animal of choice of my first soulsister, whereas mine is the black panther.

Ok, never seen that name before, that is why I thought you were a hedgehog lover. :hedgehog::sweat_smile:

And yeah, it means ‘God is good’. My sister is named Amara—Amarachukwu actually, but no one calls her that except my parents when they’re mad—and that means ‘God’s grace.’
