I was wondering if readers like to see details in stories, for example if the character is going to meet a friend at the cafe/a certain place, do readers like to :
pick their ootd
watch the characte get out of the house/apartment, get in the car/cab, enter the shop, etc…
?
like, how much detailing do you like to see/read about?
I feel like once in a while should be good I don’t think you necessarily need to show them doing everything but showing some of it should add some length to your episode
I don’t really think it’s necessary for readers to be able to pick out food for the characters, but it is nice maybe once every episode or two to see them get into their car or walk to school.

As a writer, I tend to write a lot of details… probably not getting out of the car, but at the very least walking into a scene and then sitting down, or something. I think it would feel weird if they’re sitting down in once place, and then you do transition fade out, and suddenly they’re sitting somewhere else… I just try to make it natural.
But I don’t think readers care about picking their food… I’m not sure though.
I like seeing details in stories.
From time to time you can see them walk somewhere rather than just randomly show up at their destination.
I don’t have to control everything the character eats or things like that.
More details I like to see:
Make background characters fit the setting (I miss this in quite some stories and it’s sometimes pretty annoying, for example when they have a school that requires a uniform and only a select few wear a uniform that’s kinda weird.
