Some people are naturally great artists, but overall I put it down to practice (:
I think it’s the shadows and the way the light shines on certain parts, it gives it a realistic look, and practice too, is what makes it good.

She’s got a youtube channel if you want to try and study her style although it’s more of a speed art but still could be helpful.
I know many people say practice and it’s true, the more trial and error the more you learn. Also studying reference photos of shadow and light is pretty helpful. Finding the right colors to shade and the right amount of blending is also a key factor in improving.
