why does using the & symbol mess up my directing? At first I used the @ symbol just so i can place the characters where I want. then I replace the @ with & and my characters are shifted to the left when I pan to another zone. Please help lol
If you post a picture of the script section, we can give you a better response. Overall though, there are a few commands the & will not work with such as transitions.

&MANAGER spot 0.884 72 44 AND MANAGER is rear
&MISTER HANSEN spot 0.749 85 72 AND MISTER HANSEN is rear
&RC spot 0.758 -106 -3 AND RC is rear
&RC2 spot 0.785 151 35 AND RC2 is rear
NARRATOR

&pan to zone 2
&BARTENDER spot 0.939 309 -86 AND BARTENDER is rear
&RANDOM GUY 1 spot 0.921 106 -128 AND RANDOM GUY 1 is rear
&RANDOM GUY 2 spot 0.909 91 -117 AND RANDOM GUY 2 is rear
&RANDOM GUY 3 spot 0.915 191 -97 AND RANDOM GUY 3 is rear AND RANDOM GUY 3 faces right
&RANDOM GUY 4 spot 0.775 264 -10 AND RANDOM GUY 4 is rear AND RANDOM GUY 4 faces right
&STRIPPER 2 spot 0.696 150 262 AND STRIPPER 2 is dance_hands_up_loop
posted it below
here it is
Everything above that pan is being set into zone 2 because they are happening at the same time as the pan to zone 2. Add a in zone 1 to each above the pan.
when I use the @ command the characters dont come up all at once, they just randomly pop up from no where lol. i want them to already be there when I pan to another zone
what do you mean?

The second half of your people after the narrator pause may actually be zone 2.
