Since it’s been a while, I’m going to say that the story is definitely about shipping MC with Austin, which is fair since we spend more time with him and we is a pretty cool LI.
That being said, it’s 7 chapters in … and there isn’t really any tension or conflict that is meaningful. Sure there is that thing with her parents but that got resolved a couple of chapters ago. Plus all this talk about Austin being closed off and reserved is so contradictory to how he acts with not only MC but other people. Yeah, it could be just because gems hanging out with MC, but so far it’s been telling me he’s not a sociable person. At best it’s the ‘not naming the puppy’ thing, but that’s just a bit of a quirk.
It doesn’t help that MC breezes through interviews and paparazzi easily, and she is on this upward trend of getting viral and popular in the web. It’s just getting not interesting if she always succeeds like that, or at least everything is going her way
