You think the main character is crazy?

People who need help aren’t necessarily crazy but she has done some crazy shit.
She tried to kidnap someone (it backfried though)
And she hit multiple times a guy with a sharp metal so he died
The guy totally deserved it but one hit would be enough to knock him out and then the police could take care of it.
She needs help, she fucking killed people i dont know how you stan that but ok.

I don’t “Stan” her, I didn’t like her either. I liked the show but I agree it does send a negative message.

how does it send a negative message

the moral was clearly don’t fat shame people or they’ll come back and murder you in a new body

Yeah and then she murdered them it was great and terrible

I really don’t think insatiable was supposed to have a moral

Some things just exist to exist

It was a pretty shit*y thing to exist.
It didnt handle topics well, the mc ruined it all.

Could say the same thing about Sucker Punch.

That movie was stupid.

But I still like it.

I haven’t watched it tbh.
Insatiable was kinda “addicting” just because i wanted to see what other dumb shit would patty do.

There were so many fucked up things in Insatiable that I can’t even start, but while the skinny shaming is horrible, in that show specifically, there was way too much fat shaming that pissed me off, like how Patty kept saying “skinny is magic” and there’s absolutely nothing wrong about being fat, I don’t think it should go either way, praising being skinny on the expense of being fat and vise versa, I think it would be great if all people could just be who they want and look how they wanna look without judgement. Why is ‘fat’ an insult and ‘skinny’ is a compliment? It shouldn’t matter, you can’t really choose how you look, and not all people care enough to get/ stay skinny so what’s the point here? Getting a bit off topic here, but the point here, it’s wrong, just wrong.

i mean most of the plot revolved around body size and vanity so it only makes sense that people talked about it in the show
