[Discussion] Déjà-vu and other strange experiences

I actually had one of these moments today when I was sitting with my friends in the cafeteria and was studying maths.
My friend told me that she is going to pass sports class today ,because she feels too exhausted to stay so long at school. I had the feeling that we already had this conversation once and thought oh well I remember that her phone was ringing and guess what not only 2 minutes past and her phone rang. Creeped me totally out today. I also had another experience a month ago in which I was dreaming that I had a car accident, the next day we had one(nothing extremely tragic). Don’t know if dreaming about the future is considered to this phenomenon too, but

do you ever experienced a Déjà-vu or something strange? And how was it like? Something creepy or simple?

Whenever I tell my friends they just say to me that I‘m just too concerned about these situations.

I have those too. It’s like “seeing the future” you could call it. Where like I get a vision or dream where something happens later(next day, next week, whenever) and it is that exact moment. I know this has happened over 20 times for me. Like one day I have a vision that I was going to be in math and someone would fall out of their chair yes, I knew which student) then the next week in math that student feel out of their chair. :flushed::blush:

I had a dream that I fell down the stairs at church and it happened that same week. Everything that was in my dream from the clothes that I was wearing to the people that would be there to witness it and the things I was carrying whilst falling down the stairs was all there. I wasn’t even embarrassed as I knew it was gonna happen and there was nothing I could do to avoid it.

Good that I‘m not the only one! It didn‘t happen so much to me though. I always feel totally bad the whole day because I‘m unsure what is going to be a dream and what reality.

Respect that you didn‘t freak out in this situation, because I would totally have. What is interesting to me is the fact that there is no real explanation to why we might see some future events. I‘m not the type of person who believes into ghosts and supernatural stuff you see in TV series, but I always thought what if twe maybe have like a underdeveloped sixth sense. (I know that sounds stupid since it’s just a theory) You often hear in movies that animals totally freak out before a storm or tsunami (I think this was the case in a movie called the day after tomorrow) and that they kind of feel it coming. (Even when I also consider that animals maybe just have a higher sensitivity rather than a sixth sense).

Right yeah! I feel you!

It’s not stupid! I always felt like we did have a 6th sense! I was think after I finiah writing my current book series, that I would write a book about a girl that suspects that humans have MORE than 5 senses. And maybe that we have 6 or 7.

I would totally read that! :yay: I think that those personal experiences can be great to write a story for episode. I’m not that type of person who writes a story about herself but I let experiences like these influence it.

I literally have so many deja vu moments I’m used to it by now. Also several other times I’ve dreamt or seen something that’s then happened I’m used to strange and unusual experiences, have had quite a few even back as a kid.

Well actually, every person EVER gets that deja vu thing, seriously. And dreams about the future creep me out but they seem to be a pretty common thing. There have been bunch of famous people that reportedly dreamed how they were going to die and then they did.
I think there’s something about dreams that show an event that will happen in the future, I’ve had a few of those, they just feel different. I’ve had a dream that I’m almost certain is an event that will occour in about 5 years and I’ve dreamd it 2 years ago, and I had like 3 others like those during my life that came true several years after I dreamed them so it may just be true. It was a good dream though (I looked so pretty and didn’t have acne anymore, I really hope it’s real anyways😂)

About that deja vu feeling… you can search it up online, there are so many cool theories as to why that happens, there are even fragments of those in some ancient religions. I’m not even remotely freaked out when that happens. But there’s a really weird thing with deja vu’s for me that they don’t feel like “this has already happen and it’s weird” they feel like they already happened dozens of times and just feel really familiar, I don’t know how often it happens to other people but that’s not how they usually say that. I also sometimes feel like I’ve already been this, done this before with like bunch of things that I haven’t my definitely favorite theory is that people live their live their lives over and over and over again with little to no change, but with some change in consciousness and some small things that can be changed. Idk exactly how it’s supposed to work but I guess there could be at the same time someone on earth that lived a 1000 lives and someone who’s just now living their first life. The point is eventually becoming like a perfect human being in a life (you know, like learned from all mistakes and fixed them all) and die completely, where everything just ends. Deja vu’s are fragments of memories you have from previous times living your life. If that theory is true then I guess I’ve already lived this life several times already and that’s why. But seriously, a deja vu feels like a deja vu of a deja vu of a deja vu of a deja vu and so on, is it like that to any of you?

Wow that’s a great thought. Kind of connects to the whole reincarnation theory, not certainly based on buddhism with the karma system.

It’s from some ancient religion, I don’t rember which one but I read it once on the internet and it made so much sense and I just love it. I mean seriously, if that’s true, it could legit explain that entire phenomenon with deja vu’s and dreams that come true, because then it’s not really dreams and weird flashbacks it’s just old memories.

Exactly. I was thinking more like an actual book. But episode is a good way to start too.

I once had deja vu about the time I had deja vu. It was extremely trippy and I felt like I was dreaming… but I wasn’t.

I actually had one more experience as a child which is not really a déjà-vu moment, but I can’t explain it until today.

I was like 6 and we drove home after the holidays and I was sleeping with my parents in one bed. I remember waking up and that something pulled me at my ankles, but only when I was under the blanket and I couldn’t see my feet. I tried to wake up my parents but they said that I should just go to sleep. A while ago I read that many people experienced similar things and that this was maybe a sleep paralysis. But it felt so fr*cking real that I couldn’t sleep calmy for the following months. And as a child thats even more shocking.

That’s happened to me too :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Oh my god! Scary!!
