It’s real, but it’s very hard to describe since it’s a paradox all on its own and can become toxic if anyone doesn’t know any better.
I’ve gone through a Philosophy lesson on this topic, and the best way I could describe it are these:
- it’s not a necessity, because love is a choice.
- it cannot be absent because it’s already transcended for many years through many generations in many, many forms between friends, family, and loved ones.
- you cannot love another if you cannot love yourself first. What can you give another when you have nothing in the first place? Take care and be kind to yourself the same way you’d want someone to be kind to you.
- Love starts within yourself, it’s possible that it’s very little, but it grows if you let it.
