Opinion: authors shouldn’t be lazy when creating the plot and character development.
Most of the said “cringe” stories are due to authors applying someone else’s ideas completely, change a set of characters and it’s a new story.
It doesn’t work like that… Most of the time, those “less qualified stories” are just unpolished. They’re rushed. The authors don’t take enough time constructing a good plot simply because they want to get it over with.
Look, if writing feels like an assignment, so stressful that you have to copy someone else’s work, then good news! It’s not compulsory to be an author in the Episode community. Therefore, you don’t have to write someone else’s stories which seriously ticks me off.
