Bingo, another typical bad boy with parent problems and a stinking black leather jacket. Poor guy, author forcing him to stand up to Shay. Such minor character development compared to Shay it’s surprising how the author thinks it suitable for him to become a second love interest.

Boo do I even need to say anything? It’s been what, a year?! and I still can’t get over why the MC keeps wanting to play presumptuous matchmaker for her mindless friends. She should solve her own hot mess and let them figure it out for themselves. I know she wants them to be together and happy whatever, but GOD it’s so annoying she figures it’s okay to break anyone’s heart because apparently Ajax and Ivory are just side props with no feelings. problematic asf–must be them teenage hormones.

Thank goodness I gave up trying to read the new version from chapter 4. On one hand it is way more polished and the plot in the beginning seems to transition better, but I cannot stand the frustrating relationships and dialogue
I read the whole thing and if I hadn’t taken screenshots for the wishlist thread and got gems. I would have said I have big regrets for reading it. Shay was a horrible LI and so was the other LI they were shamming each others mums instead of Shay’s dad the cheater. Shay also has severe jealousy issues. The MC kissed someone in the dark during a game and he took a temper tantrum over it then he decides to be a hypocrite and kisses the girl who bullied the MC. When it all got revealed he said “I didn’t mean to it was a mistake” but when she kissed someone else she thought was him he says to her “How could you, I thought we were special”. He is an overall annoying and childish character.
Definitely, he’s not that good of a best friend either. And Aimeé—I don’t know the right word to describe how awful she is to Leo. I’ve mentioned this is the “Episode Characters You Strongly Dislike” thread that she keeps playing with Leo’s feelings. Aimeé keeps telling herself that she will tell Leo how she feels, but as soon as he sees her kissing Ivory, she gets all sad and a little jealous. But then when Leo tries to talk to her, Aimeé switches up on him and says that she’s over him. But as soon as she sees Leo and Ivory kissing again, she starts crying. Like, wtf do you want with him?! If you’re really over him, stop crying that he likes Ivory over you! There is the exact definition of, “I don’t want you, but I don’t want anybody else to have you because I think I like you” cliche bullsh*t.
I honestly didn’t pay attention to the drama going on outside of the two LI drama. I couldn’t have cared less about the side character drama because they were all just annoying and nothing they did was justifiable. If we don’t have a character to like in a story then what is the point!
But taking it all in review yeah Aimee and everyone were just horrible to each other. I was too focused on her hairstyle and how much I hated the main LI. Seriously I wish there was an option to punch him at the end of the story.
