Just popping in here after the latest two chapters to say…
I called it, Seth is a bad guy and I was right to hate him, and is it just me or does his plan have vibes of Syndrome’s from The Incredibles? The whole “causing a disaster to look like the hero when I save the day” part sure rings a bell, but Seth is nowhere near as good a villain. He was also responsible for faking Corey’s messages and making up Corey’s girlfriend, so…uh, glad that loose end got tied up, I guess.
Oh, and the gem choice was way more eye roll-worthy than usual. I mean, really, 20 gems to break out of the room with your powers when you can break out of it without them only a minute later? Yawn.
