I actually thought that Corey would be evil cause he “mysteriously” dissapered before the bombing. But I’m also on the Corey and Grace ship so far.
Ah I feel like every single one that I’ve read has a gem choice in every chapter even if it’s just an outfit choice.
I’ve read every featured story too. Well, at least the first episode lol.
Haute as Hell definitely did. Pitch Perfect definitely did. Kill My Love did. Recently Royal did. It Starts With a Bra did too, didn’t it?
Hmm I’m pretty sure most I read it wasn’t in the first Ep but I could be wrong
Maybe the older ones?
Or maybe they were the kind of choices that you just ignored lol. The one in Kill My Love looked like it had just been thrown in there for the sake of having a gem choice lol.
Even now for gem choices in user stories, if you’re in the writer’s payment program and you want your bonus, you need at least one gem choice in each of the first ten episodes.
Yeah I honestly just don’t even pay attention to gem choices but I have tons of gems from reading.
I don’t really find them necessary to use them.
Me either. Gem choices honestly don’t usually bother me since most of the time they don’t affect the story at all. I can’t remember what the gem choices were in Glitch Girl, but they clearly didn’t bother me or impact my reading experience
Agreed.
Glitch Girl is a great story and anyone not liking it should give it some more episodes cause Joseph Evans is one of the greatest writers.
Episode did the same thing to Miss Mj with Chain Reaction: King Theo and Chain Reaction: Lost. It’s almost like Episode took the author’s story and claimed it for themselves. They’ve done it with a lot of stories
Ohh, maybe they’re Episode Offical stories? The author wrotes the story for Episode.
The weird thing with this is the story doesn’t appear on the author’s account but is linked to the author.
It appears on Episode’s account & has an author that isn’t Episode itself.
I’ve read all three released episodes. Keep this in mind as you read my opinion.
I like the storyline. Kinda. It is very unique considering the usual very unoriginal and trashy stories Episode spews as its feature stories. It’s not absolutely intriguing, nor is it my favorite story ever, but I can say with certainty that I’ll read at least another episode or two before making a decision on whether to continue.
I do not appreciate the usage of gem choices at all, but I’m glad it’s just an outfit choice and not the usual Episode trend of ‘find out the answers you’ve been waiting for forever or pass??? 92938 gems!’
Although there are no fancy effects to it, the directing is still well-done, and I like it.
It could use diversity. Like a LOT more diversity. It seems to be missing POCs that aren’t the result of customization or LGBTQIA+ community members but hey, it’s Episode 3, I’ve still got hope for that.
I don’t like either of my love options, and hope that they’re either better developed as characters or that I’m given the choice of picking neither. And like someone said earlier in the thread, the romance feels rushed. Three episodes in and I can sense that this is going to be a fall-hard, fall-quick romance, and I don’t like that at all.
The cover art is absolutely beautiful. This has nothing to do with the story, but I’d be doing the story an injustice if I didn’t point it out.
Overall, it is alright- not the best story I’ve read, but not the worst, and good enough to deserve a few more passes.
Yes I believe that.
They get paid a certain amount to write the story as well
Loving both Seth & Corey so far!
Either would be a great suitor for Grace.
I really like this story. I liked all of Joseph Evan’s stories. I don’t know how this will compare with some of his others as regarding how memorable it will be after I read it, but I am certainly enjoying. I like how he gets right into the drama/action part of the story early on. I am intrigued about the MC and want to know more about her powers.
Actually, in my opinion for this type of story, I like how they get into the action right away.
I love the MC and I know once this story goes further and further. I’m sure everyone will adore it.
I just started playing, and I thought a couple of things were weird at first. One, you know those selfie animations where the person stays completely still? A couple of them have been used, especially in establishing scenes. It was a bit off-putting since I usually prefer you-know animated ones, not completely still. Plus the first choice after the customisation, it was just the weirdest random set of ice-breakers (i.e. their age, and how many girlfriends he had).
Otherwise, I like it so far.
You mean you don’t ask a guy how many girlfriends he’s had within 30 minutes of meeting him?
I mean it could have been a bit more established, like he has a lady friend in the party along with his parents, and he was a little flirty? I don’t know, not to mention “Hey, I am going to be an uncle soon, since my sis is going into labour”.
Don’t worry, I wouldn’t ask someone I’d just met that question either.
I actually hadn’t really noticed how odd the questions were until you pointed it out, but I guess my expectations for Episode official stories have just dropped super low.
That doesn’t work for some of the stories though. A lot of the stories, such as King Theo, were released as normal stories and existed for years before becoming Episode Official stories,
